Who Are We

About Us:

Curtin African Student Association (CASA), The Peoples Tribe, where the pulsating rhythms of amapiano flow through our veins, infusing every gathering with an electrifying atmosphere. Here at CASA, we are committed to supporting and empowering African and non-African students at Curtin University. CASA strives to foster a profound sense of belonging and help students thrive in all aspects of their lives, from mentorship programs and academic assistance to cultural events and networking opportunities.

Our Vision:

At CASA, our vision is clear: to cultivate a community of African students where genuine connection is the foundation, and excellence is the standard. We strive to create an inclusive environment where every member feels valued, empowered, and supported on their academic and personal journeys.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to create a safe space for African students to find family, pursue greatness, and be of service through collaboration with external bodies. We are committed to providing a platform for students to explore their heritage, celebrate diversity, and develop leadership skills that will empower them to make a positive impact in the world.

What We Do:

Throughout the semester, CASA hosts a variety of events both on and off campus, ranging from cultural festivals and educational workshops to community service projects and networking opportunities. These events not only enrich the student experience but also promote cultural awareness, social integration, and personal growth.

How We Help:

Beyond hosting events, CASA is dedicated to supporting African students with life at Curtin University. Whether it's providing academic resources, offering mentorship  we strive to create a supportive network that helps students thrive both academically and personally.
